Effective July 1, 2021,听for the 2021-22 school year and forward, Commissioner鈥檚 Regulation 100.2 (gg) School Safety and Educational Climate (SSEC) incident categories and definitions and the School Violence Index (SVI) used to determine Persistently Dangerous (PD) schools have been revised.听

Submitting SSEC Data:

• School Safety and Educational Climate (SSEC) incident data for schools, districts, and BOCES are submitted annually to the Department using the web-based听.
• Directions on how to use the IDEx application:听.听

• Requirements of reporting are not met until the Submission Status column on the IDEx Home screen reads 鈥渟ubmitted鈥�.
